Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory)
  • College education or some college experience (preferred)
  • Minimum of two years in customer sales, upselling, telemarketing, or service roles (required)
  • At least two years of experience in the corporate or leisure travel sector (required)
  • One year of experience in international bookings

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls and emails from customers who are traveling or interested in purchasing travel services by adhering to established scripts and protocols.
  • Welcome and engage with customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Effectively convert customer inquiries into sales opportunities.
  • Employ appropriate sales techniques to achieve revenue and closure targets.
  • Research travel rates, destinations, options, and packages for customers.
  • Read provided scripts verbatim while maintaining sales and quality standards.
  • Accurately address general travel and site-related inquiries.
  • Offer information, suggestions, and options in a manner that is precise, meets customer needs, and encourages purchases.
  • Track and report call types and service issues accurately.
  • Promote and sell products or services effectively.
  • Solicit sales of new or additional services.
  • Process calls to meet or exceed established daily metrics while maintaining average talk times consistent with business requirements.
  • Meet or surpass quality standards.
