Job Title: Floor Covering Installer

Mehraz Building Dreams Inc. is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation by removing existing floor coverings and contaminants.
  • Measure and Cut Materials: Measure and cut underlay, underpadding, carpeting, and resilient floor coverings to ensure a precise fit.
  • Install Flooring: Install carpeting, hardwood floors, and resilient floor coverings on floors and walls, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Estimate and Order Materials: Estimate the cost and materials required for each installation and order them as needed.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other team members to ensure that installations are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Experience in flooring installation is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
