China Steel Inc. is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production.
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet quality and productivity standards.
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
  • Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture products.
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: General manufacturing.
