About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our team for the Alstom Go Expansion project. As a key member of our Environment, Health, and Safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with EHS rules on the construction site, working closely with site teams, contractors, and the constructor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the Health and Safety Management System standards are met
  • Conduct inspections and monitoring on-site
  • Support employees and contractors on hazard identification and risk assessment
  • Coach supervisors on EHS subject matter
  • Broadcast EHS inductions for contractors and employees
  • Facilitate JHSC Committee meetings
  • Develop and implement safety communications
  • Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions
  • Manage contractors, including monitoring, observation, and reporting
  • Qualify contractor EHS documentation and monitoring
  • Develop and implement emergency preparedness measures
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety
  • Experience on construction sites is mandatory
  • Good knowledge of computer systems, including Office and SharePoint
  • Experience in construction projects is mandatory
  • Experience in railway is an asset
  • Good written English is mandatory
  • Driving license and willingness to travel between sites is mandatory
