About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Purchaser/Inventory Control to join our team at ICONIX. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day purchasing of inventory, coordinating buying for all branches within assigned regions, and supporting specialty groups in processing and inventory control management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day purchasing of inventory, placing, tracking, and receiving orders as per established guidelines
  • Coordinate buying for all branches within assigned regions and Specialty Product Groups
  • Support specialty groups in processing and inventory control management, identifying opportunities to leverage sales between groups
  • Maintain purchasing records, entering stock transfers and adjustments
  • Engage vendors to address shipment errors, Return Merchandise Authorizations, claim back procedures, and product issues
  • Administer and support inventory cycle counts and yearly inventory count for assigned regions
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with an ERP system
  • Proficient with vendor, purchase order systems, and Microsoft Office
