Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Seasonal Equipment Operator to join our team at Ferrovial. As a Seasonal Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining contracted assets through the operation and use of heavy equipment, particularly during seasonal needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including snow plows and other seasonal maintenance equipment
  • Perform routine and non-routine tasks, including snow removal and ice control
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with changing demands and priorities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in related construction, road maintenance, or commercial/industrial repair
  • Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's license and acceptable driving record

Work Environment

The employee will be regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The employee will occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high precarious places, fume or airborne particles, and frequent exposure to insects.
