About the Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Site Lead to join our team at Colchester East Hants Health Centre. As a Specialty Site Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services in our region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to medical staff to ensure compliance with NSHA policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with local physicians to address operational and administrative issues, with a focus on quality and patient safety.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and services, including emergency preparedness and site overcapacity management.
  • Chair department meetings and participate in committee work to ensure effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Participate in clinical services planning and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
  • Recruit and retain medical staff, including providing support for new hires and onboarding processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, staff, and community partners.
Eligibility

To be considered for this role, you must be a licensed MD in Nova Scotia and have experience in leadership and management. A strong understanding of NSHA policies and procedures is essential.

Annual Compensation

The annual compensation for this role is $5,000 to $10,000, depending on previous experience.
