Our client is seeking a qualified Mid-Level Financial Accountant to become a vital part of their finance team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in various finance functions, executing full cycle accounting, and performing essential accounting duties that ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other essential accounting tasks.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and accurately record cash transactions.
- Process journal entries related to financial operations to guarantee proper documentation of all business transactions.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities, including account reconciliations, financial analysis, and contributions to the financial reporting process.
- Maintain and update finance-related data in databases to ensure information accuracy.
- Collaborate with finance team members to ensure adherence to established processes and controls.
- Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis, including data gathering, organization, and presentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
- Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is preferred.
- Familiarity with finance-related software, such as Microsoft 365 Business Central, is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to complete tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills.
