Position Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer plays a crucial role in assessing, designing, and enhancing manufacturing techniques. This position requires a deep understanding of product design, materials, manufacturing processes, production equipment capabilities, assembly techniques, and quality assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, design, and enhance manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency.
  • Identify areas for improvement and maintain a robust Quality Program to ensure compliance with the Quality Policy.
  • Initiate advanced reporting, materials planning, and system optimization.
  • Detect patterns of non-compliance, recommend corrective actions, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the MRP framework while supporting operational functions.
  • Utilize existing engineering documentation to structure, prepare, and maintain BOMs and hardware lists in the MRP system.
  • Provide technical assistance for the MRP system, manufacturing tools, and equipment.
  • Lead collaborative projects aimed at enhancing manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Effectively manage engineering requirements during MRP implementation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field.
  • Proficient in CAD/Solidworks software.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems is essential.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in standard English, both written and spoken.
  • Legally authorized to work in the applicable country.
  • Experience in CNC programming is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
