We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Braefoot Community Association. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of young children in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities, tell stories, teach songs, and take children on educational outings to foster a love for learning and exploration.
  • Child Support: Assist children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and toilet habits, while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a secure and healthy environment that prioritizes the well-being of children, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and possess a strong commitment to the well-being of children.
