Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a qualified Personal Support Worker to join our team at St. Joseph's Care Group in the Nursing Patient Care department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to patients in a nursing setting
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support patients with mobility and transfer needs
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Personal Support Worker certificate
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
  • Understanding of and sensitivity to the needs of the elderly
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated regular attendance at work

Conditions of Employment:

  • This position is conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC)
