Food Service Manager

B.C. LTD. o/a Milestones Grill and Bar is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures. The successful candidate will also be responsible for estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Standing for extended periods
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of 11-15 people, including cooks, food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
