Job Overview

This role reports to the Service Manager, Hard Rock Distribution, and is based in Sudbury, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing underground mining equipment, as well as diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective equipment parts and components at customer locations
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Participate in and promote a strong safety culture to achieve Komatsu's organizational Safety, Health, and Environmental goals
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician, 421A license required
  • Ability to travel and work overtime as needed
  • Previous experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Detail-oriented and able to work accurately
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
