Job Title: Mental Health and Substance Use Clinician

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health and Substance Use Clinician to join our team at the South Okanagan MHSU Integrated Treatment Team in Penticton, B.C.

About the Role

The successful applicant will have experience in working with individuals with addictions and strong knowledge of specific treatment approaches to counselling individuals with substance use issues.

About the Team

The ITT provides flexible and discreet treatment for individuals experiencing difficulties with substance use through virtual and in-person therapy options. The team focuses on care coordination and an interdisciplinary approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat individuals with substance use disorders
  • Provide service coordination and urgent response to complex clients
  • Utilize specialized treatment modalities and therapies for individuals, groups, and families
Requirements

The successful applicant will have a strong background in mental health and substance use, with experience in working with individuals with addictions. A degree in a relevant field and certification in a related area are required.
