About the Job

M LeBlanc Lawn Care & Landscaping is seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, maintaining lawns and gardens, and operating various equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod, seeding, and planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Maintain lawns and gardens by weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse.
  • Remove litter and garbage and cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including backhoes, forklifts, and tractors.
  • Repair and maintain equipment and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Backhoe, forklift, front-end loader, gravel or dump truck, pick-up truck, sod cutter, tractor, tractor mower, and weed trimmer/edger.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, reliability, and a team player.

M LeBlanc Lawn Care & Landscaping offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment with opportunities for growth and development. As a Landscape Worker, you will be working outdoors in various locations, assisting with landscape constructions and maintaining lawns and gardens.

Language and Work Hours

The work language is English or French, and the work hours are 40 hours per week.
