Job Title: Landscape Worker

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Landscape Worker to join our team at M LeBlanc Lawn Care & Landscaping. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, removing litter and garbage, and operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and applying fertilizers.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns and gardens.
  • Rake and collect refuse, and remove litter and garbage from work sites.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including backhoes, forklifts, front-end loaders, gravel or dump trucks, pick-up trucks, sod cutters, tractors, and weed trimmers/edgers.
  • Repair and maintain equipment as needed.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens.
Requirements:
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
  • Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, and reliability.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
