About the Opportunity:
Lambton College of Applied Arts & Technology invites applications from qualified and passionate individuals interested in teaching Financial Management. Courses to be delivered include Investment Funds in Canada.
This role is part-time, commencing in the upcoming academic term. Classes will be held in person or online at the College's Centre for Graduate Studies, located at the St. Paul's University campus in Ottawa, Ontario.
The rate of pay will be determined at time of hire in accordance with education & qualifications based on our classification form in the Collective Agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
•Create a positive teaching and learning environment
•Prepare and/or update lesson plans
•Deliver course materials and provide instruction in-person or online
•Prepare and grade student assessments including detailed feedback
•Communicate with students in a timely manner
•Follow the Academic Calendar and the policies and procedures
Qualifications and Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in business administration (BBA) or equivalent with a specialization in Finance
•Master's degree in business or related area considered an asset
•Experience as an investment advisor or insurance professional is preferred
•Teaching experience is an asset
