About the Role

The Senior Franchise Billing Clerk is a key member of the PET VALU team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of franchise billing processes. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of initial and final billing documents for franchise stores, including resales, buybacks, and new store openings.
  • Log-in and processing of pre-authorized franchise cheques.
  • Preparation of bank deposits and reconciliation of billing adjustments.
  • Posting of weekly sales and purchase reports, as well as processing gift certificate issuance and redemptions.
  • Processing write-off and spoilage adjustments for point-of-sale stores.
  • Preparation of weekly corporate store purchase summaries and checking PLD information for POS write-offs.
  • Audit of store year-end inventory for odd items or quantities requiring follow-up.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma and 1 year of administrative office work experience, with some exposure to accounting preferred.
  • Excellent data entry skills, familiarity with calculators, and knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
