Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean commercial driver's abstract.
  • Physical fitness to repeatedly lift, stack, pull, and carry heavy items (up to 80 lbs).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with fluency in English.
  • Previous professional driving experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions and road environments.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Manually sort and unload food products, utilizing ramps and stairs as needed, ensuring efficient delivery to customer locations.
  • Operate straight trucks or trailers safely and professionally to transport goods and materials along urban, short inter-urban, and rural routes.
  • Conduct routine pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintain accurate records of delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets, and incident reports.
  • Verify product deliveries at customer locations and accurately maintain customer invoices.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols and safe work procedures.
