Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Product Developer to join our team at Inovata Foods. As a key member of our Research and Development team, you will be responsible for formulating product concepts and recipes that meet our high standards of taste, texture, appearance, and nutritional content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new product ideas and recipes that align with our company's mission and values.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations and manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
  • Ensure that all developed products meet food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of experiments, formulations, and specifications.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing project findings, progress, and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment is mandatory.
  • Experience working within restaurants/bakery is an asset.
  • HACCP Certification is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
