About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Boulevard Restaurant and Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of food, including peeling, slicing, and trimming ingredients, as well as washing and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week.
