Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Underwater Operations Specialist to join our team at DiveSafe International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing underwater inspections, searches, salvage, repair, and photography tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform underwater inspections, searches, salvage, repair, and photography tasks
  • Train or assist in the training of other workers
  • Supervise staff and evaluate curriculum programs
  • Troubleshoot problems related to equipment and maintain procedures for record-keeping
  • Evaluate user feedback and coordinate projects and programs
Requirements
  • Commercial diver's license
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Ability to distinguish between colours, attention to detail, and hand-eye co-ordination
  • Excellent oral communication and organizational skills

Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work site environment is in/on water, outdoors, underwater, and wet/damp. The work setting is a remote location, rural area, and willing to relocate.
