Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team at Island Health. To be eligible for this role, you must have graduated from an approved Radiology Technologist Diploma program and be eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Recent experience in radiography and computed tomography (CT), completion of an accepted CT certificate program, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate workload for self and others
  • Establish priorities in collaboration with others
  • Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary health care team
  • Problem solve
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Operate related equipment, including computer utilizing a variety of software applications and electronic information systems

  • Demonstrate willingness to keep current with technological developments in the field
  • Physically able to perform the duties of the position
