Job Title: Head Cashier

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at SHOPPERS DRUG MART #2273. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our cashiers, ensuring excellent customer service and a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train cashiers to ensure they are meeting our high standards of customer service and sales performance.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Oversee payroll administration and ensure accurate and timely payment of wages.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to cashiers to help them improve their skills and performance.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
