We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Respiratory Services department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of illnesses and diseases, including acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions.
- Work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
- Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance clinical competence and patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of respiratory care policies and procedures.
- Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligibility for registration.
- Current valid BC Driver's License.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
