Job Title: Electrical Assembler

Randstad Canada is seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our team in the Milton area. This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime and career development.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work as an Electrical Assembler in our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing electrical components, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test electrical components, including reading and interpreting engineering drawings and Oracle Bill of Materials.
  • Work with MO2 assemblers to ensure quality and take accountability for assembly projects.
  • Use 3D model viewing software and Microsoft Office products for emailing and e-turnbacks.
  • Flex to other departments as necessary and maintain the accuracy and integrity of the internal KANBAN process.
  • Perform visual inspections of material before and after assembly, making mechanical adjustments as needed.
  • Check performance of completed components to ensure compliance to quality standards and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform pack and ship duties and use various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in assembly in a manufacturing environment.
  • Completed High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance using proper/safe lifting techniques.
  • Experience in assembly or repair of products.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing processes and Six Sigma Tools.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Oracle functions.
  • Ability to train others effectively.
