Homewood Health operates a private facility dedicated to mental health and addiction treatment, providing specialized inpatient services to a diverse range of populations including first responders, military personnel, executives, adults, and youth. As a Clinical Social Services Specialist, you will be an integral part of a collaborative and culturally-aware interdisciplinary team focused on delivering comprehensive services and programs to our clients.

The chosen candidate will possess the essential clinical expertise and knowledge required to assess, plan, coordinate, and provide treatment and support services to clients under the supervision of the Clinical Program Manager and Psychiatrist. As a key member of diverse teams, you will implement effective treatment strategies within both inpatient and outpatient settings, facilitate access to community resources, apply psychosocial principles, and advocate for client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized and client-centered treatment and support services
  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments and collaborate on customized treatment plans
  • Manage and support assigned clients throughout their treatment and recovery process
  • Provide direct assistance with symptom management and therapeutic interventions
  • Create a nurturing environment that meets clients' needs and encourages self-advocacy

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work
  • Registered with the appropriate regulatory body for Social Workers
  • Proficient in CBT, CPT, and DBT methodologies with relevant practical experience preferred
  • Experience in managing complex mental health conditions utilizing evidence-based practices
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
  • Strong report writing capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessment, treatment, and research is a plus
