Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at WRHA Community Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and support to clients in their homes and communities.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks to clients.
  • Assist with medication management and administration.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a healthcare support worker program or equivalent experience.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
