- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate patient records, complete necessary paperwork, and communicate with other healthcare professionals as required.
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
- Experience: Experience in a primary care setting is an asset.
- Certifications: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and values and ethics.
