We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Doctor to join our team at WELL Health Clinic Network.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting medical examinations, and developing treatment plans to promote health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to identify health issues and develop effective treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations to diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions, including chronic diseases and injuries.
- Develop and implement health education programs to promote healthy habits and prevent disease.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and coordinate referrals as needed.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, as well as perform routine surgeries and procedures.
- Deliver babies and provide prenatal and postnatal care to expectant mothers.
- Advise patients on health care options and provide counseling and support on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
- Report births, deaths, and contagious diseases to government authorities, as required.
- Supervise and manage primary patient care, including coordinating home care services and providing acute care management.
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
This is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring 30-50 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
