Senior Risk Engineering Consultant Liability

Zurich Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Engineering Consultant Liability to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Specialty Liability team, you will provide expert risk assessment and risk improvement services to our customers and business partners.
Key Responsibilities- Assess complex risks and provide expert advice on risk management issues to internal business partners and external customers.
- Support external customers by identifying and reducing the risks they face individually and on an overall account basis.
- Provide risk improvement advice, conduct loss investigations, and implement risk improvement programs related to Liability.
- Share technical expertise with colleagues, business partners, and customers through training delivery or participation in a Centre of Expertise or industry segment.
- Produce work that complies with Company standards, in terms of technical quality of policies and procedures.
- Anticipate, recognize, and respond to the needs of customers by providing expert solutions and training to key customer(s), and contribute to Business Operation Profit through opportunity spotting and cross-selling.
- Develop and maintain positive customer and business partner relationships and collaborate with both customers and Business partners to develop appropriate service plans.
- Resolve technical issues, problems, and projects in reference to policies and procedures within a specific function or unit.
- Bachelor's Degree or 6 years of experience in the Risk Engineering area related to Liability.
- OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area in Liability.
- OR Zurich Certified Apprentice, including an associate degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area related to Liability.
- AND Experience working in a team environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Prior experience in complex liability considered a strong asset.
- CRM or CIP Designations considered an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of exposures controls.
- Advanced knowledge within industry segment.
- Certification in area of specialty, Risk Engineering.
