Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Crew Haulers. This is a permanent position with a focus on maintaining and repairing commercial transport vehicles.

Education:
- Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in automotive technology
- Equivalent experience may be considered
The role is primarily based in a garage and workshop, which may be dusty.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair faults in commercial transport truck systems
- Consult with supervisors to determine repair or replacement needs
- Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical units
- Review work orders and document repairs
- Perform routine maintenance and service on vehicles
- Provide estimates for parts and labor for maintenance and repairs
- Advise clients on services performed and future maintenance requirements
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications
Areas of expertise include:
- Engine repair
- Electrical and electronic systems
- Diesel engines
- Brake systems
- Hydraulic systems
- Fuel and emission systems
Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass a driving record check.
