Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Crew Haulers. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide customer service
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Steel-toed safety boots
