Role Overview

As a Credit Analyst reporting to the Credit Manager, you will play a vital role in implementing our risk management strategies while evaluating situational risks and providing quality approvals that enhance our lending portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating and adjudicating vehicle loan applications by analyzing customer creditworthiness based on credit history, income, and asset valuation.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate decision-making on loan applications in a dynamic environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Conducting initial validation of application information.
  • Engaging with dealers and the sales team regarding ongoing applications via phone and email.
  • Responding promptly to incoming calls from dealer partners concerning prime credit activities.
  • Making outbound calls to dealers to gather additional information about applications and negotiate credit approval terms.
  • Managing your focus between new applications, resubmissions, and urgent requests.
  • Providing exceptional service in response to all customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Working effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet departmental service level targets.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
