Role Overview
As a Credit Analyst reporting to the Credit Manager, you will play a vital role in implementing our risk management strategies while evaluating situational risks and providing quality approvals that enhance our lending portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating and adjudicating vehicle loan applications by analyzing customer creditworthiness based on credit history, income, and asset valuation.
- Ensuring timely and accurate decision-making on loan applications in a dynamic environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Conducting initial validation of application information.
- Engaging with dealers and the sales team regarding ongoing applications via phone and email.
- Responding promptly to incoming calls from dealer partners concerning prime credit activities.
- Making outbound calls to dealers to gather additional information about applications and negotiate credit approval terms.
- Managing your focus between new applications, resubmissions, and urgent requests.
- Providing exceptional service in response to all customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Working effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet departmental service level targets.
- Demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
