Position Overview:

Enbridge is dedicated to fostering a talented team in the Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) sector, which is pivotal for Ontario's decarbonization efforts. We are seeking a professional with a background in business, finance, and project management who is passionate about renewable energy.

The role of the Business Development Advisor focuses on providing essential education, guidance, and innovative business solutions necessary for converting biogas feedstock into RNG and integrating it into the natural gas distribution framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of the RNG, CNG, and Hydrogen intra-year budget, long-term forecasting, and asset management planning.
  • Support RNG Specialists and CCWS Sales Support in processing RNG system access connection requests.
  • Assist in the administration of the Voluntary RNG program and the upcoming Low Carbon Voluntary Program.
  • Maintain and enhance the prospect/client database using CRM tools.
  • Address a variety of external inquiries related to RNG, applying industry expertise to deliver technical insights and support.
  • Contribute to the development of RNG Operations & Maintenance contracts.
  • Prepare monthly project reports as needed for RNG initiatives.
  • Aid in crafting written proposals and sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on sponsorships and events, representing the RNG and CNG divisions at industry gatherings.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A University Degree in Business, Commerce, Environmental Studies, or Engineering, with a minimum of four years of relevant experience.
  • Significant experience in customer support, project management, and contract administration.
  • A strong technical aptitude.
  • The ability to interpret industry Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Attention to detail and effective prioritization skills.
  • A creative and flexible mindset, capable of evaluating competing business models objectively.
  • A diverse background in business and project experience, with a preference for candidates holding financial and/or engineering qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Work Environment:

This role typically operates within an office setting, with occasional travel requirements.
