About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tool & Die Apprentice to join our team at Cosma International. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting experienced Tool & Die Makers in the development and maintenance of tools and dies.

Your Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Completing tasks and assignments within the trade under the direction of a senior Tool & Die Maker.
  • Completing theoretical training as per government regulation and passing required exams.
  • Completing training standards as per government guidelines.
  • Familiarizing yourself with and complying with Cosma International's Apprenticeship Program Policy & Procedures Guideline.
  • Assisting toolmakers in production runs.
  • Carrying out duties for Health, Safety, and Environment in accordance with the HS&E Agreement for Employees - Addendum.
  • Performing other reasonable duties as required and assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Grade 12 education.
  • Good communication skills, attendance, and performance.
  • Previous tooling/machine shop experience is an asset.
  • Crane/Forklift experience is an asset.
