By combining extensive business insight with a robust understanding of advanced analytics capabilities, Analytics Liaisons are vital in ensuring that the digital solutions we create are both adoptable and impactful. The Liaison will guarantee that strategic business goals directly inform and shape analytical use cases, while also ensuring that the complexities of advanced algorithms are communicated effectively to non-technical stakeholders, making the value clear and comprehensible. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across various departments, including Business, IT, and Digital, to design successful, well-defined data-driven products and services.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Analytics Liaisons engage with all major Digital initiatives – Advanced Analytics, Asset Digitization, and Customer Solutions

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify and prioritize opportunities:

• Partner with Product leaders to define the comprehensive product strategy and assess business value, maintaining alignment on priorities and daily decision-making.

• Utilize diverse domain knowledge to facilitate discussions throughout the project lifecycle with key stakeholders and experts to pinpoint where advanced analytics can address significant business challenges.

• Formulate a series of insightful, action-oriented inquiries that focus on the problem at hand, its impact, and the necessity for resolution.

Foster a shared understanding by simplifying complex concepts:

• Collaborate with all key contributors to enhance mutual understanding throughout the solution development process.

• Integrate diverse perspectives, values, needs, and constraints to align expectations, leverage collective expertise, and ensure our products and technologies meet business objectives and deliver targeted value.

Define and document data and analytical requirements to guide the development of scalable, sustainable solutions:

• Employ various techniques, including interviews, surveys, workshops, and observations, to effectively translate business needs into data and analytical specifications that will inform product roadmaps and decision-making processes.

• Work collaboratively with all contributors throughout the product development journey to ensure that requirements are clear, actionable, and adaptable throughout the development lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BA or BS preferred or relevant industry experience

Desired:

• MBA or other advanced degrees preferred

• Technical degrees in computer science, software engineering, or mathematics are advantageous

EXPERIENCE

• Proven ability to lead and facilitate others, with a track record of coordinating complex activities with minimal supervision

• Experience in clearly communicating complex technical concepts

• Prior experience in presenting technical solutions in an understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders and senior management

• Experience in implementing solutions and driving adoption among business users

• Prior experience in data science, software development, or business translation roles is a plus

• Familiarity with project management and development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Design Thinking
