Job Opportunity: Cybersecurity Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team at Fed IT in downtown Montreal. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting our systems and data from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor security systems for suspicious activity or violations of security protocols.
  • Support automation engineers in the deployment and use of security solutions.
  • Analyze security incidents and develop detailed reports on security events.
  • Implement and manage security solutions to protect company information.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to correct identified security vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
  • Provide safety training and guidance to employees.
  • Stay up to date on the latest security trends and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • In-depth knowledge of intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls (Fortinet and CISCO), antivirus, and data management solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of network infrastructure design, administration, and cybersecurity.
  • Good knowledge of the virtual environment, VMWare vSphere/vCenter, Azure, or AWS.
  • Knowledge of how automation works, particularly interfaces operators (HMI), programmable controllers (Allen Bradley, Schneider, and Siemens), and OPC connectivity. SCADA software. Knowledge of technologies logging and automation solutions is an asset.
  • Ability to analyze security logs and reports to identify suspicious activities.
  • Incident management and incident response skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • IT security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
