About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Supervisor to join our team at Easy Skill. As a key member of our Major Component Replacement (MCR) division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and successful execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide construction expertise and services for all phases of the construction project, ensuring compliance with safety requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Lead the execution of construction tasks and deliverables in accordance with engineering design, promoting a 'Safety First' mindset and upholding the Company's mission.
  • Build strong cross-functional work relationships and communication within the project team, identifying opportunities for improvement, innovation, and mitigation of risk.
  • Manage vendors for safety and quality, ensuring tasks and deliverables are assigned to qualified organizations or contractors.
  • Provide regular and appropriate performance, behaviour, and developmental feedback to direct reports, guiding and coaching construction staff on how to proceed when problems are encountered.
Requirements
  • Qualified trade or construction management or a 4-year university degree in engineering or construction leadership with equivalent experience is necessary.
  • A minimum of 6 years of construction experience (at least 3 of those years in nuclear power with responsibility for construction of complex safety systems) is required.
  • Experience delivering Construction Management services for major capital construction programs and projects within the expected scope, quality, schedule, and budget is required.
  • Experience in supervision of trades or crews with experience in a unionized environment.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Standard Association's 'Management Systems Requirements for Nuclear Power Plants' (N and all relevant Environmental and Health and Safety legislation.
