Opportunity Overview

We are on the lookout for a proficient HVAC Technician to become a vital part of our team. The successful candidate will possess substantial expertise in the installation, upkeep, and repair of HVAC systems, particularly focusing on air quality systems throughout their lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include conducting maintenance, warranty, and urgent repairs while ensuring that customer satisfaction, safety, and comfort remain paramount.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and associated equipment.
  • Assess maintenance risks and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC systems.
  • Clean, adjust, and repair systems, including executing warranty services.
  • Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to colleagues.
  • Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance activities.
  • Ensure adherence to appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customer specifications.
  • Assist with customer inquiries and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a certified HVAC technician.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Thorough understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and in confined spaces.
