Job Overview: Sales Team Leader at Tiffany & Co.

The Sales Team Leader will assist the Director in guiding and nurturing sales, operational, and security teams to achieve and surpass sales objectives while enhancing the Tiffany retail experience. They will take charge of the store in the absence of the Director. An engaging, attentive, and motivating leader, they will mentor the team and serve as a Guest Experience Manager, ensuring exceptional client service.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Management
    • Strengthen client relationships to meet and exceed sales goals, product category targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Inspire and motivate the team to consistently reach or surpass store sales objectives.
    • Initiate client development strategies to attract new and retain existing clients.
    • Exhibit sales leadership by actively participating on the sales floor and personally managing client relationships.
    • Drive business through key product categories and KPIs.
  • Client Service
    • Implement a client-focused approach and deliver memorable Tiffany Touch moments at every interaction.
    • Lead, model, and coach based on client feedback to enhance the Tiffany Experience Index (TEI).
    • Maintain a management presence on the sales floor to ensure client experience standards are upheld.
    • Enhance hospitality and store amenities to create distinctive experiences.
    • Elevate customer service based on TEI performance and client insights.
  • Talent Development
    • Attract, recruit, and retain top talent to foster high performance.
    • Train, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to enhance team engagement and effectiveness.
    • Network and recruit diverse, highly skilled individuals.
    • Establish ambitious goals aligned with company objectives.
    • Leverage training and development opportunities for team advancement and performance.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Promote operational efficiency and pursue continuous improvement.
    • Ensure operational support to drive sales and service excellence.
    • Oversee back-of-house operations and implement efficiencies.
    • Guarantee compliance with internal control protocols.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • At least 3 years of experience in retail or luxury store management.
    • Demonstrated success in sales generation and achieving results.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours.
    • Ability to develop new opportunities and maintain client relationships.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and POS systems.
    • Adaptability to perform various roles based on business requirements.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • A college or university degree.
    • Graduate gemologist degree or prior coursework from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).
