Job Summary

The City of Vancouver is seeking a skilled Operations Worker II to join our Engineering Services team. As an Operations Worker II, you will be responsible for performing manual labor tasks, including operating equipment and performing construction duties, while ensuring the safe performance of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of equipment, including small trucks and construction machinery

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous laboring experience in construction or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent bending, twisting, and lifting
  • Ability to operate a variety of equipment, including small trucks and construction machinery
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication
