Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to guide school groups on their nature field trips at FortWhyte Alive. As a Program Leader, you will be responsible for leading interactive and educational programs that bring classroom curriculum lessons to life. Our programs are designed for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 and cover various subjects such as science, social studies, and physical education/adventure.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead school groups on nature field trips and provide guidance on interactive and educational programs
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure a smooth and successful program
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for students and teachers

Requirements:

  • Enjoy working with children and/or youth
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to walk for extended periods
