Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire and Water Restoration Technician to join our team at SERVPRO of North Mississauga. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for responding to service calls, performing restoration services, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to service calls and perform restoration services as assigned, following SERVPRO production guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with crew chiefs and other production personnel to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Support crew chiefs and other production personnel as needed, including cleaning and maintaining vehicles, equipment, and office areas.
  • Inventory and load work vehicles with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
  • Prepare rooms/areas for work activities and set up staging areas and equipment for each project.
  • Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job sites with a clean and orderly appearance.
  • Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while traveling.
Requirements
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • IICRC certifications preferred.
  • Ability to travel locally and out of state as necessary.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Exposure to chemicals.
  • Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing, and ability to work in tight spaces.
