About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Commodities, FX Options & Derivatives Technology US team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing regulatory initiatives and other projects relevant to our commodity trading system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Regulatory and Compliance teams to gather requirements and coordinate regulatory BAU issues
  • Collaborate with Commodities Front Office Sales and Trading, as well as other groups (Middle and Back Office), to document requirements and conduct gap analysis for commodities products
  • Work with technology teams as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented
  • Develop and execute test plans, as well as coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Capital Markets, with 5+ years of experience
  • Significant experience and knowledge of Commodity markets in the US/Canada, including Agriculture, Oil, and Natural Gas, with 3+ years of hands-on experience
  • Extensive knowledge of the regulatory space in Commodities, including DFA (Dodd Frank), Canadian, and MiFID II, with 3+ years of hands-on experience
  • Strong working experience with Commodities Trading systems, with 3+ years of hands-on experience
  • Knowledge of commodity instruments and their lifecycle (Swaps, Futures, Options), with 3+ years of hands-on experience
  • Technical skills, such as SQL (writing SQL queries & extracting from a database) and Microsoft Office products, JIRA, with 3+ years of hands-on experience
