In the role of Production Supervisor, you will be instrumental in the organization, oversight, and coordination of production tasks within your division. Your focus will be on maintaining a steady workflow and ensuring the production of high-quality goods in line with set standards and protocols.

YOUR DUTIES

  • Oversee attendance, tardiness, vacations, substitutions, and workplace conflicts;
  • Coordinate workstation assignments with the supervisor-trainer based on production needs;
  • Develop work procedures to adhere to production timelines and monitor activities;
  • Identify and resolve production challenges to enhance operational methods and equipment utilization;
  • Review daily production metrics to keep staff informed about productivity, efficiency, downtime, and defects;
  • Issue work orders and track repair or modification requests for machinery or tools;
  • Engage in quality enhancement initiatives;
  • Ensure adherence to ISO/TS 16949 quality standards;
  • Carry out other related responsibilities as needed.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a unionized setting;
  • High School Diploma along with supervisory training or equivalent professional experience;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Familiarity with performance metrics (KPIs);
  • Understanding of manufacturing plant operations;
  • Experience in team leadership and problem-solving methodologies.
