Food Service Manager

Humpty's Family Restaurant is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and hosts/hostesses, to ensure excellent customer service and efficient food preparation.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Manage Food Preparation and Service: Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure high-quality standards are met.
- Control Costs and Inventory: Manage food and supply costs, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure Quality and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, and be physically able to lift and move objects as needed.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.
