This role requires proficiency in maintaining accurate financial records and managing various accounts through both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks that are essential for the financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll and prepare related cheques
- Calculate and manage fixed assets and their depreciation
- Maintain comprehensive financial records and balance accounts
- Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements
- Record journal entries accurately
- Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports
- Prepare tax documentation
- Compile trial balances
- Reconcile financial accounts
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset
