Key Responsibilities:
As a vital component of the Metro Supply Chain Modernization initiative, the Replenishment Analyst serves as a crucial link between Merchandising, Store Operations, Replenishment, and Distribution Centre teams.
- Manage, optimize, and execute the replenishment strategy for store fulfillment.
- Release, complement, and monitor system-generated purchase orders for stores using the SAP sales forecast tool.
- Maintain healthy inventory levels and forecasts, accounting for seasonality, promotions, and other market dynamics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing replenishment expertise to merchandising, store operations, and logistics.
- Act as the primary contact for store operations regarding inventory management, ordering, and product flow.
- Analyze forecasts, flows, and targets, serving as the connection between Transport, Distribution Centres, Replenishment, and Store Operations teams.
- Utilize analytical skills to identify opportunities for improvement and present findings to various organizational levels, including senior management.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of analytical experience, preferably in a grocery retail environment, focusing on inventory management.
- A University Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or Economics.
- Proficiency in Excel and/or SQL Server/Postgre SQL.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and areas for improvement from diverse data sources.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A customer-focused mindset with strong business acumen and a results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential.
- Knowledge of SAP and Python is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the province for store and warehouse visits.
