Job Description

Job Title: IT Developer

Job Summary:

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a skilled IT Developer to join our team. As an IT Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and maintenance of our CreditLens application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of CreditLens, troubleshooting user issues and ensuring the application's stability.
  • Perform maintenance duties for CreditLens application, including unit testing, coding, debugging, and automating manual activities.
  • Work closely with team members to provide status updates and escalate issues as needed.
  • Develop and implement code, understanding business systems and credit adjudication business flow.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the application meets the required standards and is delivered on time.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a developer, including co-op and/or internships.
  • 3+ years of experience with C# and/or OOP languages.
  • Strong experience with Postgres Database and/or any relational database.
  • Progressive technical working experience in application programming, system analysis, design, unit testing, and debugging.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience using source control systems, such as GIT or TFS.
  • Recent working experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with CreditLens application.
  • Experience with DevOps.
  • Experience with automated/unit testing.
  • Agile/Scrum methodology understanding and experience working in an Agile environment.

Education:

Degree in a technical or related field.
